What is considered in a home and property valuation?
As part of the comparative market analysis (CMA) process, we consider location, age of structure(s), home builder, size of the land and infrastructure, and known specs and conditions of the house. Damage or disrepair would reduce market value, while upgrades and renovations will typically add value. Listing prices for other properties for sale in the area will be taken into consideration for comparative purposes.
