The Ranch at Brushy Creek is a large, upscale, master-planned community in the eastern side of Cedar Park, near the west side of Round Rock.  The neighborhood is well-loved by outdoor enthusiasts, due to its close proximity to a number of recreational areas, like the beautiful winding Brushy Creek and the 54-acre Brushy Creek Sports Park, which offers a skate park, disc golf, and sports fields.  Residents enjoy pedestrian access to the 89-acre Brushy Creek Lake Park, with its 38-acre lake, a water-splash park, and multiple pavilions, and miles of hike and bike trails in the Williamson Country Regional Trail system.

The Ranch at Brushy Creek appeals to buyers who enjoy newer homes in a safe, suburban neighborhood with quality public schools. It is highly popular with families and high tech industry employees, as a number of the area’s major tech companies are nearby, such as Freescale, Apple, PayPal, Samsung, and Sun Microsystems. The community’s location allows convenient access to the area’s major roadways, including Parmer Lane, US 183, FM 1431, Toll Road 45, Mopac/Loop 1, and IH-35.  It is also close to the Lakeline Station for Austin’s Metrorail, located just a few miles southwest of the community, for an easy mass transit commute to downtown Austin, about 20 miles away.

Development of the Ranch at Brushy Creek began in 2005 and continues through the present day, allowing buyers to purchase a move-in ready resale house or to customize new construction to their own tastes. It is a large master-planned community where homes are modern and luxurious, diverse in size and style.  Buyers can choose from a wide range of options, anything from a well-appointed home under 2000 square feet for young couples or empty nesters to a sprawling estate of several thousand square feet within a gated community.

The Ranch at Brushy Creek neighborhood contains several sections, and some are gated, such as the Domain at Brushy Creek area. Buyers may choose from 50’, 60’, 70’ or 75’ home sites.  The home builders in the area are some of Austin’s most prestigious, including Drees Custom Homes, Grand Haven, Buffington Signature, Meritage, Sitterle, Standard Pacific, Highland, and Mercedes Homes.  Prospective buyers will find a large variety of home plans from which to choose, including both 1- and 2-story options.

Golfers will love quick access to one of the area’s best public courses, the award-winning Avery Ranch Golf Club, located just a few minutes away in the adjacent Avery Ranch neighborhood.
