The neighborhood is known for its lush 42-acre Sendero Springs Greenbelt, which runs through the center and eastern side of the neighborhood, and its large community pool, as well as its convenient access to the area’s major shopping centers and roads.
The neighborhood is located about five miles west of I-35 and five miles east of the 183A toll road, just south of FM-1431. The northern border of Sendero Springs is FM 1431 and the southern edge lies along Eagle Way. The eastern border is Cascade Lane and the western is Quail Run Drive. Residents in Sendero Springs belong to the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District, giving them access to the extensive offerings of the Brushy Creek Parks and Recreation Department, which serves all ages, toddlers through senior citizens. Residents are eligible to purchase an affordable annual, monthly, or single day membership to the Brushy Creek Community Center. The membership includes access to two regulation gyms, racquetball and handball courts, and indoor jogging track, game room, weight room, child play area, personal trainers, and group fitness classes.

The elementary and middle schools are conveniently located about a mile south of Sendero Springs in the adjacent Behren’s Ranch neighborhood, allowing children to safely walk or bike to school.
