Chapel Hill North, a long-standing neighborhood in eastern Round Rock, is small, covering only about a square mile.  The community was developed in the mid-1980s to early 1990s, and it contains about 120 homesites.  It is known as a well-established area, with homes that are modest in both size and price.  Home buyers here are able to purchase a single family property on a good-sized lot for a price in the $100s.

The list prices for these homes ranged from $90,000 to $185,000.  The median sold price in the Chapel Hill North neighborhood over the past couple of years was $148,000, or $112.71/square foot.

While there are not community-owned amenities within the Chapel Hill North neighborhood, there are several public parks located a short distance away.  Bowman Park is just a half mile walk east through neighborhood streets.  This pretty park covers 8.54 acres of land and includes a playscape and a .25 mile hike and bike trail that circles around the playground, as well as picnic benches and parking areas.  Residents are also close to Settlement Park, which offers 2.5 acres of parkland with a full basketball court, playground, a .15 mile trail, and a small body of water in the heart of the park.  About a mile to the west in the adjacent Greenhill neighborhood, residents can enjoy Greenhill Park.  It covers .62 acres of land and is equipped with picnic tables and grill areas, and a playscape for the children.
Another benefit of living in Chapel Hill North is that it is located only about three to four miles from Round Rock’s campuses for higher education, including Texas A&M Health Science Center, Texas State University, and Austin Community College.
