Located approximately 30 miles north of Austin, Georgetown, TX, is a blossoming community attracting people from all over the country. Georgetown Schools: Education for All Ages
With 10 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 3 high school, and 1 alternative school, the Georgetown Independent School District has over 10,000 students and great reputation for highly rated schools. Students received access to free home licenses for Office 365 programs to help assist with homework along with access to additional online learning resources. Georgetown school campuses are official No Place for Hate locations, providing a safe environment where all students feel valued and have the opportunity to succeed through collaboration and innovation. Georgetown is also home to Southwestern University, a private, four-year liberal arts college. It hosts over 1,500 students with a 12:1 faculty ratio. The University offers 40 bachelor programs in the arts, sciences, fine arts and music.

While each Georgetown neighborhood hosts their own community events, the city of Georgetown is often filled with lively festivals and cultural events. Downtown Georgetown is often called the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas for its beautiful boutiques, fantastic eateries and friendly atmosphere day and night. Art shows, sporting events and live music are a regular feature of Georgetown downtown life.
